We knew we would have quite a lot of choice once we got to Skun since it is a big town. I looked at 3 guesthouses ranging from a darkly and dingy place to one with a shared bathroom. This place was the best of the bunch.

• Location: 5/5 - very central on the main road in the town.
  
• Cleanliness: 1/5 - looked ok compared to the others but the bathroom was a bit gross. The water was very smelly like something had died in the tank...and the towels were rotten....I got our trek towels out they were that dirty.
  
• Room: 2/5 - big room with cable tv, but the bathroom really let it down.
  
• Food: 5/5 - excellent restaurant attached. Big choice and always busy. They open for breakfast too.
  
• Service: 4/5 - friendly people even though they spoke no english.
  
• Price: 3/5 - $5 for a double room with cable tv...much better value if the bathroom had been nicer.
